BOARDS OF BUSINESS REGULATION

The IDCEC continuing education course approval system coupled with the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) course tracking process assures both jurisdictions and interior designers that instructors are qualified to lead courses, course content is valid and appropriate, and course credit will be quickly and accurately issued to qualifying attendees.

Jurisdictions such as Florida are reaping the benefits of using the IDCEC process. Reduced time and cost associated with course approvals and smooth, efficient accounting of completed courses simplify CEU management. Moreover, there is no cost to jurisdictions associated with the sanctioning of IDCEC-approved courses for their interior design professional’s use. We invite jurisdictions to review the attached page that outlines further benefits that your state might realize with the use of the IDCEC system.

We invite states to consider both the adoption of the IDCEC continuing education system for your jurisdiction as well as participation with other jurisdictions at bi-annual IDCEC meetings. Your voice is welcome as a vital part of the IDCEC mission of quality continuing education within interior design
